Introducing three new basins from Glass Design – the Ettore Sottsass washbasin, the Luxor Round washbasin and the Ocean collection which will be previewed at Cersaie later this year.
The Ettore Sottsass basin celebrates the pure geometry of the circle shape with the colours and motifs create a unique fusion of form and decoration. Fashioned from serigraphed glass, the transparent material has been transformed to reflect the philosophy of the artist that perceives design as an existential metaphor. As an outward expression of its creator’s free-thinking, the Ettore Sottsass basin is a visually stunning addition to any bathroom. Its dimensions are diameter 36.7cm x height 13cm.
The new Luxor Round washbasin is the expression of charm an elegance in its purest state. Fashioned in clear Cristallo de Medici crystal, it features repeating classic geometries that create a magnificent display of light architecture. To complement the washbasin design, a set of exclusive handles – Glamorous Luxor – are available utilising the same hand-bevelled crystal which have been created to fit a range of Dornbracht tapware products. The Luxor Round washbasin has a diameter of 43.5cm x height 16cm. The Glamorous Luxor handles have a diameter of 39mm and are available in heights of 12.2, 7.7 and 4.4 cm.
Ocean is a new collection of washbasins that feature an evocative wave effect that is designed to represent this formidable force of nature. Fashioned from crystal, the Ocean washbasins feature an elegant external finish which is smooth and monochromatic. The exterior finish serves to draw the eye towards the distinctive inner texture – an intriguing interplay of shapes and visual “movement” reminiscent of the sea. The Ocean collection is available in two sizes – diameter 34cm and 40cm – and in four colours – black/gold, black/silver, blue/gold and white/gold.
