Valcucine Logica Celata

Designed by Gabriele Centazzo and unveiled earlier this year at Eurocucina, this is the Valcucine Logica Celata – a concept that reveals a new kitchen experience.

Logica CelataOne, of many, aspects that make this design special is the innovative power of Logica Celata with a single touch all that is required to reinvent the idea of ergonomics. Valcucine has invested in years of research and development and now, thanks to an advanced, counterweight balancing mechanism, the large door glides gently upwards to reveal the
whole work area: a large, fully-customisable space.

With a variety of interior options available, the space can be fitted out as a kitchen, bar, food preparation area, or for storage. Each option is provided with accessories and functions designed to meet its specific needs. In these configurations, the entire wall space is revealed, ready to be used as efficiently as possible.

The company likens the sliding mechanism to an an ancient sallet – the helmet that used to completely cover the head of medieval knights – which slides lightly and noiselessly as needed. When closed, the base of the cover closes flush with the underlying base units.

Logica CelataWhen configured as a bar area, Logica Celata reflects an all-Italian tradition which the company says is typical of the Italian way of life, accentuating conviviality and intimacy within both public and private spheres. The door opens to reveal Valcucine’s new home bar: practical, well-organised and complemented by all the equipment required for impeccable wine tasting, to mix up a perfect cocktail or prepare an excellent espresso.

Once closed, Logica Celata becomes an elegant piece of furniture that is further beautified by Vitrum Arte customised surfaces: a special technique developed by Valcucine to reproduce inlaid designs on glass.
