Hansgrohe SilicaTec granite sinks bring natural materials and elegant colours to the kitchen, creating a distinct and natural design that is the centrepiece of any kitchen.
With its new SilicaTec granite sinks, the Hansgrohe brand offers a comprehensive range for the kitchen, combining a warm and welcoming look, elegant colours, premium design and long-lasting quality. The range comprises undermount and top mount single bowl sinks, double bowl sinks and single bowl sinks with a draining board, all of which come in three colours: graphite black, stone grey and cement grey. The graphite black models are also available as convenient sink combination units, featuring a premium quality tap, an easy-to-use control system, a smart hose box for the pull-out spray tap and installation material.
With SilicaTec, Hansgrohe utilises a composite made from quartz and acrylic resins, which has a natural look and is pleasing to the touch. The result is a smooth, hard and non-porous surface, easy to clean and dirt repellent. It is odourless, UV-stable, heat resistant, food safe, impact resistant and stain resistant.
The new Hansgrohe SilicaTec granite sinks range offers a high degree of flexibility, as well as individual layout options with its variety of shapes, sizes and three on-trend colours: graphite black, stone grey and cement grey. Worktop and sink can integrate seamlessly into a single visual unit.
The prestigious Phoenix Design studio created the minimalist, linear design of the range. The broad rim surface showcases the material and provides room for additional features. This wider rim is the connecting element for the innovative two-hole mixer used in Hansgrohe sink combination units. In addition, the overflow in all of hansgrohe’s granite sinks is hidden from sight. It is positioned on the right side of the bowl, giving the sink a clean, uncluttered look.
All Hansgrohe SilicaTec granite sinks combination models in graphite black come with a choice of two intuitive controls. The controls have been positioned at the front right-hand side of the sink rim for more ease of use. The central control unit on the first model is a lever handle on the front right-hand side of the sink. It can be switched and turned to select precise water temperature and volume. Once selected, these settings remain constant. Water flowing from the tap can then be turned on or off by simply pressing the Select button strategically positioned on the high spout. On the second model, the Select button, which turns water from the multi-spray kitchen tap on and off, is located on the right sink rim. Turning the button opens and closes the drain. Both models allow the flow of water to be controlled using the back of the hand or elbow; for instance, when hands are dirty.
