Scarabeo Veil basin

The new Scarabeo Veil basin, designed by Massimiliano Braconi is described by the company as “the search for the ceramic limit”. The goal was to create an object that tells the story of an emotional and cultural journey and that pushes the boundaries between freedom of expression and craftsmanship.

Conceived as the result of a sophisticated process where design embraces true art, the Scarabeo Veil basin is subtle, balanced and elegant that is the epitome of the concept of a simple bathroom. The almost sinuous shape creates a sophisticated edge which is juxtaposed by the decisive and technically-exact linear elements, described by the company has having “its own strong-willed personality”.

Scarabeo VeilThe Scarabeo Veil basin’s shape is the result of a clearly-defined design objective – to seek the limits of the material from which it is made. Its thin ceramic sheet extends from the wall with the bowl seeming as though it has been sculpted by the water. A state-of-the-art washbasin, the Scarabeo Veil is a visual anomaly which appears to deny the rules of gravity but which is the result of ongoing research by the company to further extend its passion for new products and new techniques.

The Scarabeo Veil suspended basin is available in two sizes: 46cm x 46cm and 60cm x 46cm. In addition to white, it is also available in various colours and with a co-ordinated towel rail in chrome, matte white or matte black.
