In the odd years, iSalone hosts Euroluce which will again be held in April 2019 during Milan Design Week. This biennial fair is dedicated to lighting products and it is here that designers, brands and manufacturers showcase their products with a focus on aesthetics, materials and technology solutions. Next month, two Italian companies will exhibit a range of new creations.
Nemo is a Milanese company owned by Federico Palazzari and known for its innovative, cutting-edge design. Founded in 1993, the company specialises in contemporary design and works closely with world-renowned designers such as Carlo Forcolini, Jehs + Laub, Javier Mariscal, Karim Rashid, Ilaria Marelli, Foster+Partners, Hannes Wettstein and Roberto Paoli.
The show in April will see Nemo include a re-edition of La Roche, the wall lamp designed in 1925 by Le Corbusier for Maison La Roche, with a switch “on board”. Bird is a table lamp designed by Berhard Osann, while Newton, is a creation of Andrea Branzi, which features a diffuser with a functional approach, to maximize the effect in a mixture of direct and indirect light.
Masiero is a family business, formed in 1981 as Emme Pi Light which became Masiero in 2005. The company’s product range revolves around innovative technology which is protected by many international patents covering its latest developments in home automation and innovative new lighting products, designed for both indoor and outdoor markets.
Next month will see the company present new collections that enhance today’s contemporary aesthetic while embracing a decorative approach. Papilio is designed by Armando Bruno and Alberto Talamante Torres.
