AXIX HI-MACS sinks from Gunnersen

The new AXIX HI-MACS sinks are an undermount sink range that allow for seamless sharp edges to flow straight from the benchtop down the sides of the sink.

Seamless installation and a choice of four sizes and three metal finishes means the AXIX HI-MACS sinks are designed to be the perfect fit in any kitchen. This is a new concept that combines an acrylic worktop with a single-bowl undermount sink.

AXIX HI-MACS The unique method of manufacture and installation creates the appearance of a steel-bottomed, material-clad sink. There are no joins between the worktop material and the base of the sink, providing the ultimate watertight solution. Take a look here to see how the incredible AXIX HI-MACS sinks are created and installed.

AXIX HI-MACS sinks utilise a seamless technology to create an impermeable sink base via a straightforward manufacturing and installation process that does not require the use of specialist tools. A box section is formed from the HI-MACS worktop material and the sink is simply slid into place onto the box section. This then forms the internal walls of the sink for a contemporary, uniform and sleek aesthetic.

AXIX HI-MACSAXIX HI-MACS sinks are manufactured using 1.2mm 304-grade stainless steel and are backed by the parent company’s 75-year guarantee. A protective powder coating on the underside of the sink provides insulation and helps to retain water temperature. The range is available in Stainless Steel as well as Copper or Gunmetal finishes in 450mm, 500mm and 700mm options.

HI-MACS is the perfect worktop and side fit for the innovative AXIX sink with its long-lasting, hygienic, durable finish. Available in a wide range of colours and styles, HI-MACS is suitable for a variety of applications and provides designers, architects and builders with the freedom to innovate.

AXIX HI-MACSA special adhesive allows HI-MACS to produce a seamless look and is particularly applicable to large island units and large benchtop areas where the appearance of a single slab is visually important. The available palette includes solids, translucents, neutrals, natural and engineered stone patterns as well as both dark and bright solid colours.
