At Interzum 2019, GERA Leuchten will introduce its GERA Lightbox, staying true to its philosophy for minimalist lighting as a room design element. The company’s trade show stand will be dedicated to the concept of lighting that is also a piece of furniture – something for which the company has become renowned.
The GERA Lightbox is based on the minimalist structure of the company’s Lighting System 4: a light source has been integrated into a rectangular black aluminium profile frame. The glass bottom serves as a shelf; the GERA Lightbox can therefore be used to display special objects. On the one hand, the extremely bright and indirect lighting lights up the back wall. On the other, the precious objects on display in the Lightbox are lit from the front. Whether a vase, a sculpture or a flower arrangement – every object inside the box is staged with the aid of lighting.
The GERA Lightbox is not the only new product that will be on display at the stand at Interzum 2019 but they are understandably staying tight lipped about what other innovations might be on display.
If you’re heading to the show – which will be held in Cologne, Germany from 21-24 May – you can see the GERA Lightbox (and all the company’s other products) in Hall 4.2, stand E31.
The GERA Leuchten company, which is based in Thuringia in Germany, develops furniture concepts that are unique and combine furniture with the respective lighting technology.
With its characteristic lighting furniture, the company is exploring a totally innovative product category that always has a dual interior design and functional purpose through the combination of lighting with light projection.
