Introducing Vitreo and Opale from antoniolupi, designed by Carlo Colombo and Andrea Lupi, two new washbasins that celebrate the Cristalmood surface.
Opale is a collection of washbasins that examine the potential of colored Cristalmood and its ability to dialogue with natural materials. The name refers explicitly to geometry and the infinite reflections of precious stones, the unique magic of nature invades the bathroom in a continuous cross-reference between material, surfaces and refined chromatism.
The chromatic aspect of the collection is interpreted through the 10 colors in which Cristalmood is proposed. A combination of translucent shades can be matched with the stunningly-veined Bianco Carrara Marble or Nero Marquina.
When constructed entirely from Cristalmood, the pedestal sink fully expresses the multi-faceted image of a gemstone in its infinite chromatic variations. The translucent pedestal creates a suspended sensation generated by its opaque volumes. When coupled with the marble pedestal, the translucent basin seems to be securely supported.
All the versions proposed are characterised by perfect geometry and proportional balance. The washbasin is available in the new decagonal shape or in the more traditional round shape, in the top mount version. The same is also available as a freestanding pedestal washbasin that can be either cylindrical or prismatic.
Vitreo is a single Cristalmood block that seamlessly expresses all the elegance of the material and the classic geometry of the sink shapes. Vitreo is available in 10 colors and suits a variety of refined style contexts.
Vitreo adds a sense of brightness to the space thanks to the infinite reflections generated by its architectural elements and surfaces. A decagonal shape, Vitreo provides an interesting visual effect that enhances the characteristics of water. Vitreo is designed as a gem that embellishes the center of the room.
