Hotwire Floor Heating is a luxury your clients can afford and is available in three options – under tile, in screed and a heating mat. When designing a new home or bathroom, your clients will love the indulgence of included floor heating in their project.
Hotwire under tile heating is suitable for a single room, open-plan living space or can be installed throughout an entire house. Under tile heating is perfect for our Australian climate and is the perfect antidote to those cooler mornings and evenings. A 4mm-thick element is placed directly on the sub floor and the chosen flooring is simply laid on top. A fully programmable touch screen thermostat can be used to program the floor heating to switch on (and off) when required to suit the needs of the users.
Under tile heating is suitable for renovations as only the floor surface needs to be replaced to facilitate installation. The system caters for areas as small as 1 square metre, through to large living areas.
Hotwire in screed heating is designed for installation in a sand and cement screed over a floor surface or if you are planning a polished concrete floor. The element sits approximately 30mm deep in the screed and spreads an even warmth throughout the entire room.
In screed heating can take longer to heat up than under tile heating but it may better suit the installation conditions.
A Hotwire heating mat offers all the benefits of under tile heating with the added bonus of already being fixed to a mesh. This makes installation incredibly easy as it is simply rolled out across the floor.
Every Hotwire Floor Heating system comes with a fully-programmable, touch-screen thermostat to allow the floor to be programmed around the lifestyle and the needs of the users at different times of the year.
