The Vera lamp by Icone Luce was designed by Marco Pagnoncelli and reflects his ability to capture the centre of energy in order to light a space.
The Vera lamp comprises a reflective disk and a luminous, brushed aluminium ring. Its internal and external edges appear completely rounded just like a wedding ring (Vera is the Italian word for a wedding ring, which is why the product carries that name).
When open, the indirect lighting ring detaches itself from the reflective disc and is manually positioned with a 90-degree angle, perpendicular to the wall or up to 360 degrees parallel to the wall. This not only creates an interesting visual effect but allows the user to create a number of different lighting effects to suit different moods or needs.
The wide mobility radius of the ring enables the Vera lamp to recreate a number of ambiances with a great effect – the display of light and shadows obtained, creates interesting shapes and lighting effects.
A 700mA LED illumination of the lamp provides not only great output to meet the lighting needs of a variety of rooms but is a good example of a compromise between the consummation of energy and the creation of light.
