Meir Lavello global Product Design Award

Congratulations to Australian tapware brand Meir for winning the global Product Design Award in the 2019 Architecture Masterprize for its Lavello kitchen sinks.

With more than 1000 entries from more than 65 countries, the award was presented to Meir at the Winners Gala event at the Guggenheim Museum in Sprain on October 14, 2019.

The Architectural MasterPrize organisation, based in Los Angeles, recognises and acknowledges the greatest architectural product designers and manufacturers around the globe, with their mission to advance the appreciation of quality architectural design. The winners are selected by an esteemed jury of the world’s leading architects, academics and industry experts.

The international awards seek to celebrate the ingenuity of products and materials that make great architecture possible and shine a light on those who create functional, sustainable and innovative products.

Lavello’s range of high quality, stainless steel coloured sinks are coated in cutting-edge nanotechnology and finished in PVD coating. The sinks features three unique finishes; brushed gold, nickel and gunmetal and are available in a number of sizes including single and double bowl choices and are paired with matching coloured waste strainers.

Lavello sinks are crafted using 1.5mm-thick 304-grade stainless steel throughout the entire sink area, ahead of industry standards of 1.2mm and are available in under-mount or top-mount applications. Each sink is also fitted with heavy duty sound-absorbing pads to reduce vibrations and noise.
