Zelda vanity from Devon&Devon

The Zelda vanity table pays homage to unconventional femininity and the irresistible charisma of the author’s wife and muse of “The Great Gatsby”, Zelda Fitzgerald.

The dresser frame is defined by the sinuous lines of tops and side doors, by the rounded shapes of the semicircular handles which close with a circle and by the round circumference of the big, one metre in diameter central mirror.

Zelda vanityThe thin and slender table legs are made of natural brass, as it is the rounded profiles which gently accompany the curvatures of the tops, doors and encircle diamond mirror and the base of the velvet footstool.

The counter top is in Cremo Extra marble with bright pale yellow veins. Underneath the counter top, between the two drawers, one of which is a ring holder, is a pullout top covered with velvet.

Zelda vanityThree versions of the French-polished doors and drawers are available – an intense powder pink with tones of mauve , a shade of colour that Zelda Fitzgerald loved and which she frequently described in her stories; a cream white that emphasizes the formal purity of the vanity table, enhancing the high contrast with the golden light of the brass elements; and thirdly, a thin two-tone zig-zag pattern inspired by Art Deco, with fragmented and irregular lines that recall the materiality of twill fabrics. All colours can also be customised upon request.

The dresser body is made of lacquered wood and is glossy for the pink and white versions and matte for the zig-zag. The dimensions of the dresser are 155cm max width, seat opening of 70cm, max depth of 45cm and 81cm in height (181cm with mirror).

Zelda vanityThe Zelda vanity revisits the classic bedroom dresser in a contemporary key and enhances the offer of Devon&Devon collections dedicated to home and self-care.
