New Caravel low tables by Collector

The new Caravel low tables by Collector were unveiled at this year’s Maison&Objet in Paris, displayed in Rattan, Walnut and Marble finishes.

Caravel low tablesThe Caravel low tables were inspired by the different materials that were used on the three boats that Christopher Columbus, the Italian explorer, sailed to discover the world, and were combined with the Portuguese craftsmanship of Federico Peri.

Caravel low tablesFederico Peri is a Milan-based interior and product design studio founded in 2011. Its design process is driven by a consistent philosophical approach by which the studio creates concept that are intimately connected to their function and individual context. Federico Peri believes in working with aged authentic materials, which tell a story of craftsmanship, rather than simply a standard of beauty. This is the design belief by which the studio starts any kind of project, whether it is furniture, installation or interior.
