Satara launches into Sydney

Known for its versatile collections of high-quality, hand-crafted indoor and outdoor furniture and homewares, Satara has launched in Sydney thanks to an exciting collaboration with SMITHMADE.

Founded by Andrew and Colleen Johnston, Satara started out in Melbourne more than 10 years ago. The company has trade showrooms in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and now Sydney. The SMITHMADE in Balgowlah collaboration enables Satara to have a showroom presence in each Australian state.

2019 was a major year for Satara’s commercial work, with iconic projects ranging from The Intercontinental Hayman Island, Orpheus Island, Eco Lodges in the Kimberley to as far south as the Portsea Hotel and new Portsea Life Saving Club.

The new ranges are a real highlight, with chic alfresco and dining pieces that hits the mark for Australians that love a relaxed yet luxurious look. Standout new products for 2019/20 include the new Catalan Collection, a collaboration between exceptional design and robust outdoor materials. The indoor collections also include the popular Noah and Logan ranges made from recycled teak.
