effe by effegibi attended IMM Cologne for the first time under its new name and showcasing three products – the YOKU 80 sauna, Touch&Steam generator and Tuttovertro Inside door. The new effe brand merges tradition and new visions of the future in a clear and recognisable style, meeting the growing need for global, customised “Perfect Wellness” systems.
The attendance at the show officially opens a new chapter in effe’s story in Germany – a chapter that presents a company which has undergone profound change and has been on a journey lasting nearly 30 years.
The display elements for IMM Cologne 2020 have been custom made in the shapes and sizes typical of a spa in a hotel health centre or a superior fitness centre. To show how its products can be adapted to different project requirements, effe will present three versions of the YOKU 80, a modular sauna with a concealed heater and a natural and organic aesthetic. Each of the three saunas has a personalised front wall – one with a wooden or glass door, one with a free, uncluttered glass wall and one with wooden shelving. The YOKU 80 also features dark, solid-treated wood and transparent surfaces in 8mm toughened glass.
effe will also present a Turkish bath with the Touch&Steam steam generator. A glass box with interior coverings in Slimtech houses the Hammam powered by the steam generator which consists of a screen-printed toughened glass with a visible thickness of only 3.7cm. As well as coming complete with colour and aroma therapy, Touch&Steam boasts a ventilation system which minimises temperature layering inside the cubicle, and an automatic boiler-cleaning system which prevents lime-scale build-up.
The made-to-measure Hammam glass panels and doors come from the Tuttoverto Inside collection of doors and panels which are fitted flush with the floor. Produced in 8 mm toughened glass and stainless steel, they are designed to create a perfect seal against escaping steam and ensure correct air recirculation.
