ASOFIA offers Certificate IV in Project Management Practice

ASOFIA is pleased to offer Certificate IV in Project Management Practice, a course that has been specifically contextualised for the Australian fitout industry and is delivered by Adapt Education. The course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively and efficiently manage a range of small to complex fitout projects.

Project ManagementThe nationally recognised course consists of nine units delivered in three clusters. The start of each course will include participants being invited to a face-to-face day seminar over a weekend to introduce the course and begin the first cluster of units.

The seminar will be delivered at an east coast capital city location determined by the biggest concentration of registrants (WA registrants may join the seminar using video conference technology). Following the seminar, participants will complete the course through an interactive online portal with unlimited access to the trainer through phone, email and instant messaging.

Project ManagementThe course duration is 18 months with up to six months to complete each of the three clusters.

Entry requirements for the course are; well-developed written and verbal communication skills, basic numeracy skills and basic computer operating skills. Upon receipt of the enrolment form, participants will be asked to complete a short Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test to confirm suitability for the course. Adapt is able to assist participants who experience LLN issues or who have a disability.

The assessment will consist of a combination of activities, written questions, case studies, projects and evidence portfolios. All students completing or discontinuing their studies will be required to complete a student survey.
