Driade is expanding its Ziqqurat Collection, a family of cabinets that expresses personality, character and eclecticism, congenital characteristics of the brand.
In a house, cabinets are certainly among the elements that give most character to the space. For this reason, furniture has not only the function of containing but also that of satisfying the eye every time it is looked upon. Ziqqurat is inspired by the idea of Chinese boxes, a set of volumes that, in their composition, define the image of a stepped pyramid, the Ziqqurat. Modules that can be composed in various ways, creating configurations with one, two or three levels.
The new additions to the project enrich the collection with new ‘must have’ pieces that are added to the modular cabinet from one to three heights and to the vertical one that, in the floral version, are now combined with the new teal lacquered finish for the legs as well as for tassels. Driade also proposes a new length of 186 cm, available in all finishes.
Designed for a contemporary living space and lifestyle, the new Small and Extra Small cabinets are made in iconic patterns, each of which gives a completely different character to each piece: fairytale, fantastic and abstract in the floral version with tassels; striking, pop and design in the geometric striped version with handle.
The Small cabinet is available in two heights made with two full extension drawers while the Extra Small cabinet comes with one full extension drawer. Both sizes consist of a laminate structure with an external finish of floral decoration or with white/black or white/red geometric graphics and a black lacquered interior with textured finish. The feet are lacquered in a teal color, or in canaletto walnut for the floral version and glossy black lacquered for the version with white/black or white/red geometric graphics.
