Lambert & Fils launches Atelier Line

After the opening last December of its first showroom in New York, Tribeca, Lambert & Fils
introduces seven showpieces of the new Atelier line. Atelier is a new line of sculptural models imagined by the design studio without material limitation or constraint.

Using the brand’ standard collections as a departure place, Atelier models are special
variations on popular designs that shed the limitations of consumer collections, and hold
nothing back. With Atelier, they venture away from the useful object towards unique showpieces, which greatly impact the atmosphere of a space while highlighting its personality.

“I wanted to revisit the vocabulary we had created with each collection, and imagine what new phrases we could come up with, using the same words”, says Samuel Lambert. “For me, it’s a way to both honour the last ten years and push ourselves further and deeper”.
Seven Atelier models are on display at their recently opened Hudson and Duane showroom.
New models will be launched periodically over the upcoming year.

Parc Atelier 01

Lambert & Fils
Lambert & Fils – Park Atelier

This extended Parc model plays with the proportions between the tubes and the globes, allowing for a bolder yet still playful piece, reminiscent of a dancer’s legs in mid-air – it fills a room while never overpowering it. The Parc Atelier 01 not only exudes elegance but will
truly sing in larger spaces with higher ceilings.

Beaubien Atelier 01

Lambert & Fils
Lambert & Fils – Beaubien Atelier

Guided by the images of a waterfall and a weeping willow, the Beaubien Atelier 01 provides a vertical focal point that elevates the room it lives in. When viewed from afar, its delicate
rose hue seems to change before our very eyes, as if the light itself was warming up; the elusive nature of the Beaubien Atelier 01 creates a dreamlike, meditative atmosphere, both comforting and striking.

Laurent Atelier 01

Lambert & Fils
Lambert & Fils – Laurent Atelier

This Laurent variation is poetic simplicity at its best. Inspired by the House of Cards game created by Charles and Ray Eames, its composition is meant to appear playful, like modules piled on top of each other in happenstance. Reminiscent of a children’s mobile, it adds depth and movement to the original nomenclature of the Laurent, thus unfolding its full
potential.

Dorval Atelier 01

Lambert & Fils
Lambert & Fils – Dorval Atelier

The Dorval Atelier looks like it was dipped in a pool of metallic liquid, making it an utterly
refined, almost magical version of the impressively technical original model. Entirely
finished in brass, the Dorval Atelier stuns by stripping down and glorifying the process of
making such a piece. Brass is a lively material which morphs with time, and ages elegantly.
This model aims to be an ode to our most-used material, juxtaposed here on one of our most contemporary models.

Mile Atelier 01

Lambert & Fils
Lambert & Fils – Mile Atelier

With its aluminium body, the Mile Atelier offers a mirror-like finish, reflecting the surrounding space while providing a unifying focal point. The elongated line, a vertiginous display of balance, provides a grid-like room divider that’s both playful and discrete. It seems to melt into the scenery and frame it at the same time.
