OK – i know this isn’t technically a kitchen or bathroom product but I think we can all acknowledge the design credentials of these Opossum bird houses!
The bird houses from the Opossum design collection rightly bear their name, as their contemporary architecture resembles our human houses. The timelessness of the Bauhaus was the inspiration for the design. With their straight lines, these feeding places fit perfectly into our modern neighbourhoods, offer birds a stylish stage in the garden or on the balcony, and delight the viewer while observing lively, local birds.
As with a house for people, the requirements of the real users were of course also considered here. Large roofs protect the bird feed from moisture, enough room heights and branches as a landing place invite birds to linger.
Variants with integrated drinking troughs do not let our birds down, even in summer, and are used for refreshment and bathing. They not only quench the thirst of our feathered friends, but also offer a welcome snack for refreshment, as feeding the birds is particularly important during the rearing phase of the offspring.
