The ACFA 2021 Industry Awards were held last Friday at a fabulous face-to-face event at Dockside, Darling Harbour to celebrate all the winners and finalists. Here is a full wrap up of all the furniture, commercial and apprentice winners:

Judges comments: Workmanship outstanding, with the use of recycled timber, sustainability perspective used to minimise the acoustic diffusion and sound wave reverberation while still maintaining a beautiful aesthetic feel. Amazing.
2021 Freestanding Furniture Award

Winner: Indetail Pty Ltd
Judges comments: Judges were very impressed with the workman ship and mobility of the seating. This project demonstrated, innovation, functionality and creativity, all the meeting the clients brief providing opportunity for multifunctional event space incorporating a biophilic design.

Winner: Seaview Cabinets in conjunction with Shaynna Blaze
Judges comments: WOW, not seen before. Difficult decision for judges, as this category had very high-quality entries. The design, function and outstanding workmanship all met the clients brief for dual purpose usage. Judges are wondering when can they get their invite.
2021 Apprentice of the Year – Cabinetmaker
