Ottomano by OLEV is a wall lighting fixture, designed for both indoor and outdoor use and can be applied in residential and commercial settings for a modern look.
Built from aluminium, this ‘luminous handrail’ boasts a unique and striking aesthetic. Thanks to its eight-sided ergonomic shape and double light source, Ottomano adds functionality and style to any staircase.
The light source placed at the bottom of the fixture illuminates the steps ensuring safety while the light source placed inside Ottomano reflects light onto the wall to provide the whole stairway with glare-free illumination.
Each Ottomano is custom-made, and the length is adapted to the project’s specifications. In 2020 Ottomano achieved the honourable mention at European Product Design Award.
OLEV was created in 2014 by Andrea Lanaro, an entrepreneur who has been working in the lighting industry for more than 25 years. OLEV was the first brand to launch a full range of LED-based decorative lamps and it works closely with lighting designers, architects, and interior designers.
OLEV’s flexible production allows it to produce sound-absorbing lamps, lamps that filter and purify the air and lamps that reproduce the variation of natural light in a completely automatic way.
