On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2022 Zucchetti presents Isy22, the new taps collection designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez.
The new collection celebrates the 20th anniversary of the iconic Isy* with a new innovative system, enriched by unexpected contemporary finishes.
Isy* represented a revolution in the bathroom world, being an original system that spoke the language of simplicity, transforming the classic methods of technical design. Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez reimagined the iconic Isy* collection by creating Isy22, which embraces the unmistakable DNA of the original collection but it is now proposed in an updated design, in order to answer contemporary needs.
Having grown in size and character, Isy22 remains faithful to the inspiration of the original project and to what made it unique in the bathroom world: an essential shape that follows the natural flow of water.
The design is iconic in its essentiality and in shapes that are increasingly sophisticated.
Isy22 is a versatile water management system, consisting of 4 products families: the single-lever mixer, the progressive mixer, the classic 2 handle version with levers or knobs. Each collection is characterised by exclusive finishes in addition to the usual ones.
A brand new, intense and vibrant Mediterranean blue makes the most of the single lever mixer and the 2 handle series with levers. The progressive mixer is available in bold two-tone proposals with playful and bright colours. In the 2 handle version with circular knobs, marble was chosen as the material; the shining stone, in various precious shades, diversifies a product aimed at a more sophisticated world.
To complete the new proposal there is also the “no touch” electronic tap, which meets contemporary lifestyle and needs. Isy22 has grown compared to Isy *, the spout of the tap has now a diameter of 22 mm, making it a particularly suitable product also for the contract world. Isy22 is an extremely versatile and cross-cutting project, its unmistakable character makes it an icon of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
