Mini Style & Flower Style by Glass Design

Mini and Flower are two iconic Glass Design bathtubs and, in an exciting makeover, have undergone an astute and sympathetic restyling.

Although both are designed by Marco Pisati, they are characterised by distinct and differing styles. The Mini bathtub was created to provide an ad hoc design solution for compact settings. The organic and striking form of Flower, on the other hand, infuses a bathroom space with character and personality.

This project has also taken into account the choice of material used, with the introduction of Vetrofreddo®Compact, a new generation form of Vetrofreddo®, that sees the union of aluminium oxides, titanium oxides and acrylic resins. This unique combination maintains the technical and aesthetic characteristics of the mineral material, whilst optimising its physical and chemical properties.

Mini Style

Mini-Glass DesignDisplaying a sleeker and more minimalist design, the Mini Style bathtub – despite being the same size – allows for greater comfort within, thanks to a revised form which is wider and more ergonomic, not least since the overflow is directly integrated into the structure of the tub.

Mini-Glass DesignTowards the back there is a 90° angle which allows it to fit snugly into a corner, a particular advantage in small bathroom settings. Furthermore, the area housing all the connections has also been modified to facilitate maintenance and installation.

Of particular note is the fact the Mini Style bathtub has been designed to accommodate all types of bath taps and comes complete with its own click-clack waste in matching resin.

Flower Style

Flower-Glass DesignWith its soft, flowing asymmetry, the Flower Style bathtub stands out for its elegant and functional form. The design, inspired by the world of nature and flora, has been elevated post-restyling thanks to the creation of a magnificent new free-standing version.

Flower-Glass DesignIts internal measurements have been modified, too, with the aim of providing greater space and enhanced comfort within, while maintaining the external dimensions. The thicknesses of the rims have also been changed and this greater subtlety in the curvature has resulted in a lighter, more dynamic silhouette.

Flower-Glass DesignThe overflow, integrated directly into the structure of the tub, is another plus-point both in terms of aesthetics and practicality.

For both bathtubs, there are various colours available, either two-tone or single colour and the “antiscratch” treatment addition – both for the interior and exterior of the tubs – ensures the integrity of its colour finish over time.
