Introducing two stunning new products from antoniolupi to enhance the design of any bathroom – Flow, designed by Paolo Ulian, and Street, designed by AL Studio.
Flow is a sink that represents the force and fluidity of water whose form it naturally takes, creating a symbiotic relationship between the object and the formality of the material with which it is created. The concept for the design stemmed from the observation of a water-jet machine and the way in which it seems to spontaneously create irregular curvilinear waves in relief on the surface of marble that can resemble a “frayed” effect of a fabric pleat.
This design turns that effect from a defect to be avoided into a feature that possesses a unique aesthetic quality. Water jet cutting provides the opportunity to optimise the material and a single block of marble can produce three or more sinks of different diameters.
Each sink is distinguished by its own special aesthetic to make a unique piece that is unrepeatable.
Street is a new marble washbasin within a modular system that was presented earlier this year as part of Salone del Mobile. The modular system allows for the integrated top to be produced in marble or Corian, both characterised by a clean, essential aesthetic.
Street is available in a wide range of configurations including a version with cabinet, to a simple suspended sink and can be specified in three variants of marble: Bianco Carrara, Rosso Levanto or Marquinia, as well as Corian which can also be backlit to enhance the beauty of the stone even further.
