Ceramica Bardelli showcased its collection of Italian-designed ceramic tiles at this week’s Cersaie show, held in Bologna, Italy.

Established in 1962, Ceramica Bardelli’s factory is located in Milan and its collections are designed by some of Italy’s best designers including Giò Ponti, Piero Fornasetti, Marcel Wanders, Dimore Studio, Studio Pepe, Storage Milano.

Caleido

Ceramica Bardelli-CersaieThis handmade collection was inspired by the shapes and colour effects seen inside a kaleidoscope and is available in four colour schemes reflecting the natural primary elements of fire, earth, water and air. A common colour – ivory – is repeated across all the collections with the tiles alternating between gloss and matte for additional effect.

Clayborn

Ceramica Bardelli-CersaieA collection of floor tiles that utilises AI “generative design” to create shades and patterns. The product is the result of an unusual collaboration between Bardelli Group and Clayborn whisky that sees AI used to reproduce the texture and organoleptic properties of the clayey water in the Westerwalt caves.

Cromatica

Ceramica Bardelli-CersaieA collection of colours, sizes and designs that cross the colour universe by focussing on monochromatism which enhances colour as a key element. Cromatica is presented in vivid trending colours in a variety of sizes and shapes including hexagonal floor and wall tiles and diamond tiles.

Fili

Ceramica Bardelli-CersaieA decorative cadeaux in porcelain stoneware, Fili is a re-issue of a collection first released in 1984. The collection showcases textures of colour that touch without colliding and aims to represent the trends of colours and textile weaving of the time, in a combination of trendy shades and tones.

Play

Ceramica Bardelli-CersaieThe Play collection is funny and attractive with a strong emphasis on fantasy and creativity. In playing with design and anticipating trends, Play has strong references to the ’90s with a modern and immersive concept that transcends nostalgia. The four symbols commonly seen on a controller or joystick make up the dynamic collection – triangle, circle, square and cross.

Tubes

Ceramica Bardelli-CersaieInspired by the milled panel or ribbed wood seen commonly throughout architecture, Tubes is designed to enhance the beauty of three-dimensional decoration but with a focus on the ceramic element. Available in six colours – black, white, green, night blue, orange terracotta and beige nude – the tile can be specified with a ribbed or flat-smooth surface.
