I SIDE by Gedy is a series of bathroom accessories created for the Italian company by the Studio Original Designers 6r5 Network – Milan.
Created in resin and metal, I SIDE by Gedy is available in black or white in a toilet brush, soap dispenser, soap dish and toothbrush holder.
The goal with the creation of the collection was to reflect observations of the sea and design pieces that reflect both the movement of the water as well as specific elements associated with the sea, such as dolphins and coral and the like.
The designers sought to make this a collection of innovative objects that would evoke memories and spark imagination within an architectural setting. I SIDE by Gedy is formed from a silk-effect satin resin combined with polished chrome metal to achieve its unique finish and aesthetic.
In using these materials, I SIDE by Gedy is given a tactile and sensual sensation within a design with strong personality and memorability. The designers describe the collection as being a design message that speaks to a frenetic world in constant motion; where people move fast but also know how to listen to the silence and calm of nature.
