Hettich Australia is announcing the latest addition to its Actro 5D drawer runner range – the bottom mounted runner, with new changes designed to enhance functionality.
With the introduction of the new catches, available for purchase now, all Actro 5D and Actro YOU runners will feature a cut-out window to seamlessly accommodate these enhancements. Unlike the previous version, these catches are crafted from durable plastic, offering improved reliability without compromising on strength.
The standout feature of these new catches are based in the ‘latch concept’ – users can now effortlessly release drawers from the runner by simply pressing two latches, eliminating the need to uplift the drawer manually. This not only streamlines the release process but also ensures enhanced security and stability.
The new catches can only be used with the new modified Actro YOU and Actro 5D runner while the current version is suitable for both options.
The range encompasses various lengths, starting from 350mm up to 500mm, catering to diverse furniture requirements. Furthermore, the new bottom mounted runner retains the same adjustment features as the standard version, ensuring easy installation and customisation.
About Actro 5D
Actro 5D fittingly gets its name from the runner system’s ability to be adjusted in 5-way directions, with its narrow reveals and large front panels allowing the runner to be hidden below the drawer to create a seamless and clean look. Its synchronised system allows for smooth running and with a load capacity up to 70kg.
