Introducing a new modular system – Cartesio, designed by AL Studio for Italian living and bathroom brand antoniolupi.
Cartesio consists of seat and back elements that can be combined in various positions and sizes to create custom compositions in the bathroom space. The Cartesio system is made up of essential and absolute shapes that can be integrated in both the shower space and other areas of the bathroom.
These modules can be used to create a range of designs and layouts based on their location, size, and materials. Cartesio is the ideal location for countertop washbasins, lifting them from the ground and accentuating the “floating” aspect.
Cartesio also offers a scenic backdrop that enhances the volumes of the basin, thus helping to define a domestic microarchitecture with balanced proportions, full and empty spaces, close-ups, and perspective backdrops.
Cartesio’s versatility is extended to the basin area, where it can easily and functionally hold facial care accessories and other personal items, adding elegance and perfection to the bathroom. Focussing on designer elements that work particularly well in architectural spaces, Cartesio is made up of pure parallelepipeds, with crisp and regular volumes, and refined proportional balances. Dimensions can be customised to the centimetre making this collection ideally suited to a bespoke space.
When applied as a series of functional elements for the shower space, Cartesio becomes a valuable ally to increase comfort and the experience of relaxation. These monoliths can be positioned according to the project and the available space, including benches, shelves and volumes in Bianco Carrara or Rosso Levanto marble whose precious and ever-changing shades dialogue with the sharp surfaces of the glass and the pure lines of the profiles.
