L’Ottocento preview EuroCucina

The new L’Ottocento kitchen collection previewed this month at EuroCucina combines the warm expressiveness of wood with the aesthetic rigour of steel.

The Padua company will be exhibiting in Milan with three new kitchen proposals and a dining area. Among the new features of EuroCucina, is the space dedicated to the Floral boiserie system with the new Virtus island, conceived from a collaboration with makethatstudio. A skilful dialogue has been created between different material and colour choices with a blend of styles that create an alluring atmosphere.

L'Ottocento-Eurocucina-2024Featuring a perfect blend of classic and contemporary style, the Floral walnut boiserie showcases high-level cabinetmaking – a distinctive feature of L’Ottocento products. Made entirely of wood and with full height extension, Floral elegantly dresses the walls, revealing a sophisticated mood, with linear features. The boiserie’s internal compartments are fitted out for functionality, with openable doors that house appliances, storage spaces and shelves.

Inside the retractable doors, a measured play of contrasts creates visual interest. In this area dedicated to washing, vintage brushed steel is the protagonist, covering the backdrop and walls, and applied in the top and wall units.

L'Ottocento-Eurocucina-2024The new Virtus island completely in brushed vintage steel coordinates with the niche. With an elegant minimalist flavour, mitigated by a refined aesthetic cleanliness, it combines perfectly with the materiality of wood. It excels with its smooth squared door, with an original three-dimensional effect and with the brass profile which underlines its shapes, proving to be a useful handle to open doors and drawers.

Also in steel, with the same finish, the top combines aesthetics and functionality, allowing practical use of the kitchen. Finally, the geometry of the island is interrupted by two cylindrical bases which support the function of connections, giving lightness.

L'Ottocento-Eurocucina-2024On the sides of the niche, two passage doors integrate with the boiserie, allowing access to the dining room, dedicated to social living and designed for seamless continuation of the kitchen. Here, the walls covered with wooden boiserie give refinement and warmth, enveloping the space equipped with the new L’Ottocento table and chairs, where there is also a refrigerated cellar box, again created according to the company’s high artisanal sartorial standards.

You will find L’Ottocento at Salone del Mobile.Milano in Hall 4 – Stand C11.
