Introducing a revolution in kitchen appliances: the Elica Lhov is the first product to integrate a kitchen hood, oven and induction hob in one unit. Lhov was featured on the Elica stand at last month’s Salone del Mobile.Milano.
Designed by Fabrizio Crisà, Chief Design Officer of the Italian company, renowned globally for its extraction systems Lhov features a sleek linear design, crafted from black glass, with high performance, professionally-inspired features and a powerful extraction system. The system, for the first time ever, removes odours and vapours not only from the hood but also from the oven.
Its dimensions of 90cm x 36cm allow Lhov to perfectly integrate into the kitchen, with an optimal use of space and a striking aesthetic impact. The linear and continuous black glass surface has no handles or knobs for a sleek and streamlined finish that is perfect for today’s modern kitchens.
Lhov stands out not only for its design but also for its powerful extraction core, capable of efficiently eliminating fumes and odours. It prevents steam and hot air from escaping when opening the oven door; it also ensures that odour-laden air does not radiate from the top edge of the oven cavity.
The system is equipped with Long Life Filters++, designed to ensure excellent performance and a significantly higher than average odour filtering capacity. These filters have the unique ability to self-regenerate, enabling them to last from 3 to 5 years.
The new concept oven also boasts numerous innovations. With a simple touch, it opens and closes softly and effortlessly. Inside, the oven cavity is 30% wider than standard ovens and allows you to cook or bake as you like: Side by Side, placing two trays on the same rack for different dishes or to make double portions; All In, with spacious trays suitable for large-sized food; Little & Many, for cooking smaller portions of dishes in bulk.
Traditional cooking modes can be combined with steaming for lighter and healthier dishes. The oven is also equipped with automatic cooking programs: just choose the recipe, serving size, and desired cooking setting. Lhov handles the rest, including automatic shut-off. You can also select and set the internal temperature of food thanks to a probe equipped with a smart sensor: the oven shuts off only when the food is ready.
The user-friendly digital display, easy as using a smartphone allows you to manage Lhov with a touch of a finger. It serves as a genuine central control unit: ergonomic, interactive, and Wi-Fi enabled (to control Lhov via a voice assistant). The control is smart, even when it comes to power: you can also set a maximum power draw limit at the time of installation to prevent the circuit breaker from tripping. Lhov warns you when the limit is about to be reached, and lets you decide whether or not to exceed the threshold. Cleaning is a breeze: the smooth surfaces ensure the highest level of hygiene, and the oven only requires a few drops of soap and a little water to keep it pristine.
