As seen earlier this year at Salone del Mobile.Milano, Italian basin manufacturer Glass Design has introduced a new Light Emotion concept where the incorporation of light is a defining characteristic.
Glass Design has introduced light as a creative expression to elevate and embellish its exquisite basin collections and to further enhance the fine materials used, such as crystal and onyx. The transparency of crystal and onyx allows light to be captured spectacularly, highlighting the material, the detail of the product and the craftsmanship of each item.
The meticulous hand-crafted diamond cuts of the Villa XL crystal basin provide for a stirring and glorious effect when illuminated via a light source within the base.
Fashioned from crystal, hand-cut with different accents, the Ramada, Ice Round and Ice Oval XL models offer illumination from the elegant mounting ring positioned at the base and consequently accentuated by the light.
The Onyx Light basin, featuring onyx base with sides in transparent blown glass, is illuminated from under the onyx itself. Being naturally transparent as a material, the effect is dramatic and delicate in equal measure creating a strong focal point in any setting.
The beauty and majesty of light is also apparent in the new Crystal Water Tower tap series. With elegant cylindrical bodies in three different patterns of hand-cut crystal combined with brass metal bases and spouts in a choice of finishes, an optional illuminated version turns every use into a unique and sensorial experience.
