New products from Luce di Carrara

Founded in the early 2000s, Luce di Carrara embodies the excellence of Italian design in the art of working with natural stone, embracing the philosophy of ‘Living Marble’.

This idea translates into designing total-look environments using natural stone, skillfully blending tradition and contemporary elements: from sophisticated three-dimensional surfaces for walls and floors to refined bathroom complements, elegant home furnishings, and decorative accessories.

Oscar – designed by Archea Associati

Oscar reflects the company’s philosophy of producing solutions that convey well-being, uniqueness and beauty through a careful selection of materials. These bathroom products are designed to enrich any wall.

The combination of marble elements in different shades with continuous metal lines showcases the extreme precision in the use and processing of the material, enhancing the refinement of items. The strong link between marble and the languages of contemporary design and architecture emphasises the aesthetic dimension.

The development of elementary geometries results in continuous tubular elements which extend over different vertical surfaces and always rotate with the same radius of curvature. The tubular brass structure – with a regular diameter of 16mm – is de-formed to suit its intended function through an expert construction technique.

Three metal finishes (black nickel, burnished brass and copper) can be matched with as many types of marble, responding with elegance and versatility to any type of surface and requirement, becoming a coat stand, a towel rail, a mirror, a lighting element or a simple piece of décor.

Bold – designed by iB Rubinetterie

Inspired by the traditional forms of industrial faucets, the Bold Collection is marked by solid outlines and essential, functional shapes.

Bold’s design is tweaked and adapted with the addition of marble inserts into the handles. The inserts come either in honed marble or in one of Luce di Carrara unique textures. This ‘Total Look’ solution allows designers to perfectly match the faucets with that of the marble wall coverings. This almost seamless transition between functionality and decoration gives new meaning to the use of marble in bathrooms and kitchens.

The Bold Collection is a perfect fusion of elemental basics, reimagined with a contemporary twist to suit a wide range of styles and an intuitive understanding of water control.

Passage – designed by Attila Veress

Passage is one of the most versatile systems offered by Luce di Carrara. It uses a series of assembled slabs to create monolithic cabinets and storage solutions, enriched with sinks and bathtubs to enhance functionality.

The simple geometries of the storage units are complemented by the soft curves of the functional elements, creating the perfect balance of marble geometries. Passage includes a range of organisational solutions, from freestanding vanities to wall-mounted units. The flexibility of the collection enables it to be remixed to fit different situations thanks to its slabs. The interiors of the cabinets are enriched with fine wood compartments for storage of all essentials.

The intersection of the slabs creates a unique hollow top surface that serves as easily accessible storage, reducing visual clutter in the bathroom. This collection acts as a passage that layers different types of storage, providing a practical and distinctive solution.

Tube – designed by Attila Veress

Tube was born from the desire to create a simple yet elegant bathroom system that reduces the structure to its bare essence. The collection features a lightweight, blank structure that works as a canvas for assembling bathing needs, resembling a shelving system.

Unlike most of Luce di Carrara’s products, the protagonists of this collection are two wooden tubes held up by metal tubes. These parallel wooden lines allow for the addition of one of Luce di Carrara’s beautiful sinks, thus finally turning them into a bathroom system. The sinks are designed to be compact and space saving, giving everyone the opportunity to add a dash of marble to the home.

The collection is then completed with portable storage trays with handles, allowing for easy rearrangement according to daily routines and serving as vessels that gently slide side-to-side.

The Tube shelving system also extends beyond the wall and into the compact ofuro inspired bathtubs which are enhanced by an adjustable backrest that easily adapts to anyone’s posture.
