Ari Zorlu, Managing Director of leading bathroomware distributor Paco Jaanson, showcases this year’s most exciting basin trends.
Wall Hung Basins
Wall hung basins create the illusion of ‘floating’ in mid-air, giving your bathroom a spacious yet dramatic look. Venice by Bocchi places the focus on clean lines and geometry, and is a true statement piece. It is available in 16 colours, including matte white and a gloss orange.
CUBE by iStone is minimalist in design and a little magical in its functionality – when water starts to run, it disappears into what looks like thin air, complementing and highlighting the sleek stone surface.
Countertop Basins
Countertop basins have a simple, stylish appeal, and each year, more designers are pushing boundaries. Colourful basins are on the rise and, unlike traditional ceramic basins, iStone’s Colour Design basins are completely transparent. They pop in the bathroom and are breathtaking when in use.
iStone’s Cube basin is subtler in finish and an elegant choice. The surface looks and feels soft, with a delicate thin edge. Plus, white will always remain a favourite.
Pedestal Basins
Pedestal basin designs have come far since the original thin column holding an oversized sink. These impressive basins now come in the form of freestanding sculptural designs that create impact through shapes and styles. iStone’s Freestanding Pedestal basin is testament to this, with the circular modelling and stone surface adding upscale punch.
The iStone Colour Design Pedestal basin is poised to truly wow with its unique finish and scale, which oozes confidence and playfulness.
The iStone ranges from ZAFF Designs and the Venice Range by Bocchi are distributed nationally by Paco Jaanson.
