Acquabella has won the Best Stand Award for the best bathroom stand design over 50sqm at KBB 2018, held from 4-7 March in Birmingham, UK. KBB Birminham is a biennial event and is the UK’s largest gathering of the world’s best kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands.
The show allows visitors to source the latest new products from more than 400 exhibitors as well as stay up to date at the industry conference and explore technological advances with the Innovation Awards.
With its stand at KBB, Acquabella aimed to create a concept based on an art and architecture workshop, where every element is integrated and has meaning. The company wished to create a scenario that would awaken the senses of the stand visitor.
Each product on the stand was transformed into a new piece of art that adequately expresses the intrinsic value of the products. The idea was to create a gallery of art, with shower trays and basins displayed as if in a museum.
The central area of the stand was allocated to a working space with tables and chairs, where professionals could meet with Acquabella staff while still enjoying the ambiance of the stand and the ability to admire the products on display.
In addition, two daring bathroom environments were designed to reflect the concept and the sense of the whole stand and promote the full emotional engagement of the visitor. The company says its aim was to “move the visitor to a creative environment where they can imagine without limits”.
