The Stand Collection from Ex.T, with its new brass finish was debuted at Maison & Objet in France, and is now available in Australia through Candana.
The Italian bathroom, accessories and lighting brand Ex.T is known for its innovative and handcrafted designs and the Stand Collection, designed by Norm Architects, is a combination of freestanding basins and baths that are inspired by the lightness and elegance of 1920s and 1930s interiors.
These decades of Art Deco and Art Nouveau saw the use of geometric shapes and clean lines feature in the home. The Stand Collection makes a nod to these era’s by reinterpreting the look of lion-shaped feet. By using straight cast-iron legs that are also the supporting structure of the bath and basin, the collection has a modern edge and flair that captures the best of the 1920s and 1930s style.
Originally available in black and white, the new brass finish of the structure slots in perfectly with current home trends as brass colours are becoming more common to feature throughout the home.
1920s and 1930s interiors are making a comeback and the Stand Collection has presented a refreshing and very modern way to bring this trend back into the bathroom.
