Kreoo present new products designed by Matteo Nunziati with the marble countertop washbasin, Bento (characterised by the composition of five interchangeable and removable marble elements) and the Hug Collection (composed of a coordinated marble and wood freestanding bathtub and a sink, with both open and concealed compartments).
The Bento sink recalls the idea of the Japanese bentō, a box-tray equipped with internal dividers to hold food, which can be made in various shapes and materials and is always packaged in order to create an aesthetically elegant presentation, studying the foods colour combinations and the way place them neatly.
Revolutionising the idea of a washbasin, the main element of the basin is a rectangular bowl containing the shelf that houses the flow of water and the three container-trays keep the accessories in an orderly manner. The drain is elegantly masked by being placed under the tray, concealing the traditional connotation of the object and elevating it to an unusual and innovative design element.
Bento is available in polished or matte finishes and in a wide array of proposed materials including Grigio st Marie, Calacatta Carrara, Bianco del Re, Nero Marquina, Persian Grey, Calacatta Viola, Verde Ming. Also upon request, all marbles in Kreoo’s catalogue.
The Hug collection sees marble and wood, among the noblest natural materials, sewn together with a sartorial soul: the solidity and gloss of the stone welcomes the feeling of warmth and tranquillity of the eucalyptus wood, an unusual material for the bathroom.
The veins of the stone approach those of the frisé eucalyptus, a suggestive figured wood, creating two freestanding objects with unrepeatable nuances: elegant and functional furnishings elements characterised by a timeless style, which together give a sense of unity to the bathroom environment.
Housing spaces are incorporated in the design both for the tub and for the sink, either visible or, in the case of the sink, also retractable, which optimise its use. The sink also has an internal compartment. The elegance and linearity of these shapes have been designed to be easily specified in hospitality projects as well as residential environments.
The marble is available in glossy or matt finishes and the range of proposed materials include Bianco del Re, Calacatta Carrara, Bianco Carrara, Grigio St. Marie, Pietra Gray, Travertine Silver, Nero Marquina and all other marbles in the catalogue upon request. The wood comes in a choice of Eucalyptus, Frisè and Walnut.
