Waffle is the first radiator designed by Piero Lissoni for Antrax IT and the first to feature new finishes and materials: Waffle is a unique project, combining technology, energy saving and sustainability with attentive aesthetic research.
The heating body, made of a 100% recyclable cast aluminium, is available in eleven embossed powder coatings, five of which have been developed in collaboration with the designer, exclusively for this collection. Frag, Crag, Lrag, Arag and Mrag – these are the name of the finishes – are conceived to evoke, even by touch, the historical imagery of cast iron radiators, which Waffle reinterprets also in the surface manufacturing process, characterised by a three-dimensional geometric texture.
Its material imprint, together with superior heat output and advanced technical performance, is further enhanced by the inclusion of a new wooden handle, which makes the radiator extremely functional in the bathroom. Both the surface finishes and the accessories, in walnut and natural ash, are available exclusively for this Antrax IT product family, making it a tailor-made project.
The modern radiator for living rooms consists of elements measuring 61cm x 41cm and it can be installed either horizontally or vertically, up to a maximum of five elements, thereby giving rise to unexpected configurations. A technological core, which guarantees superior heat output and considerable energy savings, along with retro atmospheres make Waffle a solution with a notable styling impact.
Antrax IT and Piero Lissoni have in fact given rise to a heating element that becomes a distinguishing feature of the interior design, affording modularity and a host of customisation possibilities.
