Sense is the new collection of electronic taps and fittings in AISI 316L stainless steel with infrared presence detection system powered by battery with 6 Volt voltage or electrical power by Quadrodesign.
Quadrodesign offers two versions of spout control. The first, more traditional, is the classic detection of the presence of hands under the water (with the sensor positioned near the spout) that generates a flow of water for 60 seconds with automatic shut-off.
The second type is with ON/OFF mode: in this case the sensor is positioned slightly away from the faucet spout and the user can turn the water flow on and off just by passing their hand in front of the sensor (but always with a pre-set time limit). This solution makes multiple and varied configurations possible with floor, wall, ceiling and ceiling spouts. In both variants, it is possible to adjust the settings (water dispensing time and minimum sensing distance from the sensor).
Sense is water-saving, energy-saving (thanks to the temperature setting), and provides maximum hygiene, as the opening and closing of the water takes place without surface contact. But there are also many other practical advantages: no contact also means no splashing water and no soap residue.
Non-contact faucets are also particularly easy to keep clean, hanks to their minimalist design. In addition, Sense is equipped with an anti-legionella system that reduces the proliferation of germs in the water by automatically opening the water flow for 10 seconds after 24 hours after the last use: in this way, water continues to circulate in the pipes and taps even when no one is at home.
