Meet Nick Pedulla from Pedulla Studio. Nick’s parents report that his creative streak was evident from a very young age. Working with wood is in his blood, with his grandfather also a furniture maker and Nick started working with him in his home workshop on the weekends from the age of 8 years.

This latest accolade is now added to the long list of awards Carmen has won throughout her stellar independent career. The Spiggy Brisbane showroom has been entered into the Australian Institute of Architecture Awards – Small Project Architecture Category, for 2023. Designed by Alcorn Middleton, the showroom features the Brisbane-based architectural firm’s renowned “hide and reveal” concept which is a perfect fit for the Spiggy showroom.

Salone del Mobile.Milano obtains ISO 20121 certification for sustainable events management
Salone del Mobile.Milano has announced that it has been awarded ISO 20121 certification for sustainable events management.
The certification was granted in recognition of the work done to prevent, mitigate and offset any potential negative effects of the 2023 edition on the environment and or on people.
Ceramica Bardelli at Cersaie 2023
Ceramica Bardelli showcased its collection of Italian-designed ceramic tiles at the Cersaie show, held in Bologna, Italy.
Established in 1962, Ceramica Bardelli’s factory is located in Milan and its collections are designed by some of Italy’s best designers including Giò Ponti, Piero Fornasetti, Marcel Wanders, Dimore Studio, Studio Pepe, Storage Milano.
Losanga tiles from De Castelli
Designed by Nikita Bettoni, the Losanga tiles from De Castelli combine formal elegance with perfect craftsmanship to create a distinctive rhomboid design.
The Losanga mosaic features a two- or three-element arrangement that allows for complex patterns and creates a 3D optical illusion to the surface. Celebrating the essence of metal, Losanga (which is part of the company’s DeMosaic collection) interprets this material within an architectural context, giving rise to a rich palette of iridescent tones and deep colours.
Airframe bookcase by De Castelli
Designed by Pio&TitoToso, the Airframe bookcase by De Castelli celebrates the art of hammered metal and highlights the artisan virtuosity that defines the company.
Its stunning shape emphasises the find metal structure which is created from asymmetrical elliptical loops that support four discontinuous horizontal shelves. With an almost aerodynamic look, the outer shell comprises a partial covering that is shaped to match the structure.
