Today’s kitchens demand multi-functional inclusions and, as we entertain more at home and cater for our growing families, design of practical elements – such as the humble sink – is meeting the challenge.
This is the Oliveri Monet double-bowl sink. It features fluid curves and sleek proportions as well as accessories which make it a work station in the true sense of the world.
With deep, generous bowls to facilitate washing of even the largest pots and pans, the sink also features accessories that increase the available workspace, speed up food preparation and contribute to a clutter-free kitchen.
There are three custom-made accessories included with the Monet and each fit perfectly into the shape of the bowls. The first is a solid timber chopping board, the second a stainless steel utility tray that can be used on top of the bowl to create extra work space and third is a colander used for rinsing and draining fruits, vegetables and pasta.
These custom-made accessories transform the Monet into a streamlined food preparation area.
From a practical perspective the Monet has been designed with rear waste outlets that ensure the maximum amount of usable cupboard and storage space beneath the sink while a solid supporting bridge between the two bowls means there are no weak spots throughout the structure of the sink.
To enhance the low profile, minimalist style of the sink it has been designed for undermounting, lying flush with the surface of the workbench – so is ideal for installation in solid surface worktops.
The Monet kitchen sink measures 820mm(W) x 500mm(H) x 180mm(D) with each bowl having a 24 litre capacity. It is Australian designed and manufactured and works well with a variety of tall kitchen mixers.
