This year’s kitchen reveal week on hit TV show “The Block” showcased a range of kitchen designs – all from The Good Guys and all featuring Cosentino’s Silestone surfaces.
Two couples tied for the renovation challenge but with very different kitchen styles. Michael and Carlene went for a “Manhattan Chic” ambience while Simon and Shannon opted for an “Industrial Luxe” space. Interestingly, the butler’s pantry was a unanimous design inclusion for all couples.
So, let’s take a look at each kitchen:
Michael & Carlene
An opulent kitchen that combines modern industrial style with classic New York chic. The exposed brick contrasts with the copper accents while sophisticated matte black cabinetry is the perfect match for benchtops in Silestone Bianco Rivers and Blanco Zeuss for a timeless look.
Simon & Shannon
Textured materials and subtle details help create the industrial luxe feel. Opulent gold metallic cabinetry creates a designer statement with the dark marble tones of the Silestone Doradus from the Nebula series adding contrast.
Chris & Jenna
Modern styling combined with natural materials creates a two-toned kitchen with generous storage. A bold, black Silestone Tao benchtop works with the glass cabinets to give the space a modern appeal while adding contrast to the timber-grain cabinetry. Floor-to-ceiling display cabinetry will allow the new owners to add a personal touch.
Karstan & Maxine
Light and airy, this kitchen is a great entertaining space. The neutral tones of Silestone Yukon contrast beautifully with the darker grey Silestone Cemento Spa for a great mix of informal entertaining and dining spaces.
Darren & Deanne
A traditional neutral palette combined with classic styling creates an elegant setting. The Hamptons style is accentuated by the addition of classic cabinetry and crisp white Silestone Blanco Zeuss in the exclusive Cosentino Suede texture.
