Biesse Group Australia held its annual bInside event this month, with more than 1000 visitors across 3 open days. The event was held in conjunction with 16 partners and provided a great opportunity for visitors to experience some of the latest technology and innovations for our industry prior to AWISA. Biesse had its full range of edgebanders, CNC’s, advanced materials and glass & stone machines on display, with live demos happening right across the event. Visitors were also able to enjoy Biesse’s renowned Italian hospitality.
Planit Cutting Edge Solutions attended the event, showcasing its design-to-manufacturing software solutions. Today’s high levels of design details in kitchens and bathrooms need to be effectively communicated to the factory and this is where Planit’s software can really help businesses succeed. The Biesse event was a fabulous opportunity to give visitors a preview of the latest developments in Plant’s presentation software – Vortek – which will also be showcased at AWISA 2016 in Melbourne.
Other industry partners on show included Nover in partnership with Rehu, showcasing its laser edge tape. Hardware suppliers Häfele, Hettich and Lincoln Sentry had interactive displays to demonstrate the latest in drawers and hinges, while Cosentino showcased a range of products across its Silestone and Dekton collections.
Biesse also invited more than 200 Tafe and Private Institutions students to visit across the three days. Lidcombe Tafe’s Colin Lindberg said, “bringing our students to bInside provided them with a real hands-on experience to see the latest products. These students are the future of our industry, and it’s important that we give them every opportunity we can”.
The Kitchen and Bathroom Blog’s very own Melanie Gardener also provided a presentation on the latest in kitchen and bathroom design trends, bringing some of the new products launched at Interzum and also previewing what may be seen at EuroCucina later this year.
