We are loving the metamorphosis of Cielo’s new La Pietre collection – originally inspired by the beauty and texture of natural stone but created in a ceramic finish.
Stones — their textures, beautiful colors, magnificence and durability — were an inspiration for Cielo. Stones were the origin of its new Le Pietre design, it takes ceramic to the level of a precious material, giving a fresh interpretation to a natural material for a unique, high quality, sophisticated collection to create exclusive atmospheres of timeless appeal.
The collection brings ceramic to new frontiers, taking on the beauty and color typical of stone and marble, which Cielo skillfully recreated with extraordinary fidelity for five different finishes: Carrara Statuario, featuring a unique crystalline grain and ivory color that capture the design’s pure simplicity; Breccia Arabescata, a thrill of intense black and white veins; Grey Stone, featuring deep warm hues ranging from gray-charcoal to brown, shot through with delicate white veins, expressing the timeless beauty that only natural stones provide.
Breccia Paradiso from dark brown to hazelnut, it features gray highlights and cream-colored, slightly golden veins, with warm hues and a compact structure; and Nero Marquinia, a deep black, fine grained marble, flecked with the white of fossil remains and shot through with white veins, at points tending towards green and ocher.
Ceramic’s versatility as a material, the use of innovative new finishes, and relationships forged with other materials like stone and marble are the source of a tailor-made distinctive design with great character, evoking the values of human work and craftsmanship that Cielo puts at the center of its pursuit. With this project, Cielo once again demonstrates its ability to bring ceramic beyond the bounds of the known, offering the market original shapes, sizes, thickness, surfaces, and colors — all sharing the exclusive use of ultra select raw materials — expressing the full breadth of Cielo’s extraordinary ability to shape material to make design pieces of high quality, unique for their beauty and durability.
