Tweet challenge – a recipe in 140 characters or less

#140Cookbook logo

Kitchen/interior design and a love of food often go hand-in-hand so we couldn’t resist the opportunity to pass on this intriguing Twitter challenge from Thomas Dux. Launched this week, Thomas Dux is asking “can you share a favourite recipe in just 140 characters?”

Entrants will be joined by Australian celebrity chefs, including Luke Mangan and Peter Kuruvita, who will tweet their tastiest treats. The challenge will be to provide full cooking instructions as well as ingredients within the 140 character limit. The company says the challenge is designed to show that quick and enjoyable meals and snacks don’t have to be complicated, involve fancy foam reductions or activated almonds.

Thomas Dux has started the competition by submitting its own recipe with this tasty dessert example: Sprinkle peaches w raw sugar, roast till caramelised. Sweet sesame halawa, Booza ice cream, pashmak, honey. #140Cookbook
