Alabaster is known throughout the world to have spiritual and healing properties – among other things it diminishes anger, eases anxiety and aid forgiveness. It comes as no surprise, then, that the product should be used in the bathroom (and elsewhere): the place where we often hide for a slice of peace and serenity.
Some of you would recall Alain Ellouz’s stunning multi-coloured back-lit alabaster baths displayed at Eurocucina in 2012. His latest release, (showcased at iSalone in next month in Milan) is called “Lumieres sur cristal de roche” (lights on crystal rock).
This is a stunning collection of wall lamps, chandeliers, and cube lamps. The multitude of new models can be used in virtually any room in the house as seen in these images. In addition illuminated feature wall and floor tiles, custom built door entry sets, and door courcheval inserts will be on display and undoubtedly attract the same attention, if not more, than the baths.
