Pages from 001-045BiographyBowerbird_LR-1The blog was started with the intention of providing an independent voice for the kitchen and bathroom, and interiors industries that could keep the design community up to date with industry functions and events, award winners, news – both international and local, new products, jobs and generally any other piece of information we thought was relevant.

Sibella has a background in styling and spent ten years in New York working for such iconic brands as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Jo Malone, Pottery Barn, Target and West Elm as well as a number of leading design magazines. Sibella returned to Australia to set up her own business – The Society Inc (www.thesocietyinc.com.au) – and continues to contribute as a feature writer and contributing editor for Country Style, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Living.

In Bowerbird, Sibella shares her approach to achieving unique style, being a firm believer that our own collections (imparting the memories they do) are a vital part of any home. The book is packed full of practical inspiration that shows how your own treasured belongings can work as subtle elements that reflect your space. This is a visually inspiring book for anyone involved in the interior design world.
