The new Genesis washbasin collection was designed by a team from Creative Lab + who describe these new basis as including “many elements that are rooted in ancient traditions, objects inspired by natural forms, which express great respect for nature”.
Each washbasin has its own identity, created through its lines and aesthetic expression, with the designs inspired by a range of rounded geometric shapes – a smooth rectangle with a beveled ellipsoid base.
In keeping with the European trend towards products to suit compact spaces, these basins are available in three sizes – 48cm diameter, 55cm x 37cm, and 60cm x 40cm.
I particularly love the smooth curves and simple, sophisticated design which makes the basins applicable across a wide range of designs. And I absolutely love the propping in these images – the retro elements work so well to highlight the classic design of the pieces. Whoever did the styling for these shots should be commended.
