24 years is a long time in the kitchen and bathroom industry and the recent launch of the new Attard’s Kitchens & Cabinetry showroom is testament to the hard work that Michael and Alison Attard have invested in their business for more than two decades. A good-sized crowd gathered in the new showroom to enjoy the visual delights of the new displays and celebrate with Michael, Alison and their staff.
Attard’s Kitchens & Cabinetry was launched more than 24 years ago when a young Michael Attard followed his dream of running his own business. After completing Year 10 at school, he undertook a four-year apprenticeship at DeGabriele’s before starting the business. Initially run from a factory on his parents’ property, Michael worked tirelessly to grow the business and establish himself in the industry. Alison joined the business 17 years ago and has worked full-time at Attard’s since.
This dedicated team has given their all to ensure the Attard’s name is well regarded both within the industry and across their wide client base. With a focus on cabinetmaking, Michael’s core skill, Attard’s designs and manufactures kitchens and bathrooms, as well as provides a wide array of cabinet making solutions to the Sydney market. The team prides itself on completing projects on time, on budget and to a high-quality standard.
Michael says, “the highlight is knowing we are an innovative company that is still setting the highest of standards for the industry 24 years after starting. A company that, in 24 years, has not had a warranty claim for defective work”. His goal for the future is to build on the name and reputation that he has worked hard to align with outstanding quality and customer service.
And, the best part of his job? “Being able to work with the best business partner, Alison my wife,” he says firmly.
