The successful applicant will need to be highly motivated, have excellent knowledge of Kitchen Design with CAD ,hand drawing and the ability to produce accurate production drawings.
Kastell is upmarket your skills will need to reflect this. Many of our projects include complete homes. At least 5 years experience is required with knowledge of the design process from initial client liaison through to manufacture and installation.

Adelaide – The Farquhar Group

An opportunity has become available for an experienced full time permanent kitchen designer to join our team. A high level of personal drive, exceptional customer service skills and strong sales acumen will see individuals succeed in this position. Nobby Kitchens is a leading Australian family owned Kitchen company and has been established since 1939. You are joining a fun team that work together and focus on team results. Nobby Kitchens is located in Gordon and Castle Hill.Gordon Showroom ( 5 mins from train station). Due to our high referrals, quality standards and longevity in business, we are very busy and require more staff to help manage our busy showroom and give our customers the best service possible.
There are three roles available at our Gordon showroom.
1. The first role is for one person for two days per week- Wednesday (or Thursday) 9am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm.
2. We are also looking for another person to work both Saturday & Sunday from 10am – 4pm every weekend.
3. We also require another person to work every second weekend. One full weekend on then one full weekend off. You will be alternating weekends with another team member.
As our customers first point of contact, initial impressions are paramount. You will have the ability to develop an instant trust and rapport with customers. As an enthusiastic, confident and excellent communicator, you will have a bright outgoing personality and enjoy the sales process and aim to exceed expectations and strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Duties of this position include converting floor traffic enquiries into appointed leads for our qualified kitchen designers. General retail administrative tasks, computer literacy and a positive attitude is required for this position. Proven experience in retail/ sales/ customer environment is required. Past experience in Kitchen sales would be an advantage but not critical. Professional presentation and courteous manners are essential. Based in our Gordon showroom, you will be working with an existing sales team with years of experience in kitchens and selling. If you love kitchens, you will love this role. You will be selling the features and benefits of a Nobby kitchen to showroom customers with the aim to organise a kitchen designer to visit their home and design and quote them on a new kitchen.
Strong telephone skills are essential and you must be a confident , well spoken individual who has a passion to succeed and close the sale.
You will be paid on an casual hourly rate plus generous commission / bonus on sales. Achieving monthly sales targets will also be rewarded with gift vouchers, team nights out to dinner which is all part of creating a fun inclusive culture.
