All MySommelier components are made in painted anodized aluminum with a stainless-steel structure which allows for installation inside watercraft or in sea-front homes. Equipped with automatically-opening, sliding-glass panels, MySommelier can be connected to your home automation system and offers eight customisable programmes to control the temperature zones.
The company has also released an App which can be downloaded to check, modify and manage the unit directly from a tablet or smartphone. This App even has a “bottle search” function (just in case you have so many bottles that locating the specific one you want is a bit difficult) that allows users to find and select their desired bottle from their mobile device or tablet. The machine replies in real time by lighting up the compartment holding the bottle in question and automatically opening the sliding glass panels.
MySommelier is not based on a “temperature stratification” system. Each bottle is stored in its own air-conditioned “cloud” with the company’s unique technology keeping the temperature constant. A Vibration Absorption System protects the wine from vibration and eliminates noise.
An in-built LED lighting system enhances the presence of every bottle and provides the wine collections with a surrounding that is sophisticated and stylish. MySommelier can even be fitted with an optional Motorised Smooth Motion technology – an innovative system which allows only authorised personnel to open the bottle holder compartments.
The body of the unit can be customised and faced with a range of materials from wood to leather, stainless steel, carbon fibre, gold leaf or pretty much anything you can imagine. It can even be personalised in a variety of shapes and sizes.
